Ugh, talk about a bummer! It’s so annoying when you show up to an event wearing something you thought was totally appropriate, only to find out it’s considered inappropriate. Yikes! No way! Women should definitely steer clear of gym gear, bralettes, crop tops, Crocs, flip flops, hotpants, tube tops and casual shorts in the office. It’s just not professional.
It’s a no-brainer that certain clothes are just not appropriate for certain occasions. Wearing something too revealing or too casual can be a real faux pas. You don’t want to be the one who shows up in jeans and a t-shirt when everyone else is dressed to the nines! So, if you’re ever in doubt, it’s best to err on the side of caution and go with something more conservative. Bottom line: dress appropriately or risk looking like an idiot!
